Located in the Building Technologies Center on the Penn College campus, The Dr. Welch Workshop, a Makerspace at Penn College, offers students, faculty, staff, entrepreneurs, and creators a collaborative environment where anyone—from first-time makers to experienced builders—can experiment, learn, and create. The space delivers hands-on access to advanced tools and equipment to help users prototype, test, and refine their ideas. Whether working independently or alongside fellow innovators, users can test theories, explore new concepts, and gain valuable real-world skills to power their careers. Access & Membership: Penn College Students, Faculty, and Staff enjoy free, year-round access. Williamsport LaunchBox Participants: Receive access for product development, prototyping, concept testing, and transforming raw ideas into viable solutions. General Public: Open to the community from May 2027 through August 2027 with the purchase of a membership.
